Art Gallery NSW will unveil its newly redesigned Australian galleries with a festival of free events for the whole family on Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 May. Over 60 events including performances, workshops, films, family activities and talks reveal the astonishing diversity of art born from our distinctive Australian culture and landscape.
Also on show are exhibitions celebrating Australian art, including ‘Archibald Prize 2012’ and ‘Australian Symbolism: the art of dreams’, opening on 11 May.
